Who we are.
We are locksmiths, carpenters and building engineers who are employed by colleges, universities, hospital, companies, and government facilities.
Why the Institutional Locksmiths' Association?
Institutional locksmiths found themselves with problems and nowhere to turn for help. We needed a forum for the locksmiths to be able to discuss common problems which occur in the institutional setting. Such as:
Help with key control and master keying
Help with technical information
Help locating parts, supplies, key code, etc.
Help communicating internal needs to your institution.
The Great Lakes Chapter Meetings
Meetings are held in the greater Chicagoland area on the first Thursday of the month, excluding January, July, and August. We always enjoy each others company and share our knowledge at functions such as:
